Who would have thought that the USA soccer team would be able to beat the world-class team of Spain in the Confederations Cup. USA pulled of a 2-0 win against Spain, these shocking results means that the Americans will now go to the Confederations Cup final.
To give you an idea of how good of a result the USA soccer team pulled off, they have now stopped Spain’s 15 game winning streak, the team has not been beaten since they lost to Romania back in November 2006.
According to the Seattle Times, the United States Soccer team is ranked 14th in the world, and was almost knocked out of the first two rounds of the Confederations Cup. This is seen as a warm up to the World Cup 2010. USA will now face either Brazil or South Africa.

how bout them boys from the u.s.a.? wow! best watch out world we’re about to be the best at another sport, nah prolly not, but what a hell of a match.
I believed in this team forever now it seems. Landon Donovan will go down as one of the greatest international players to ever play the game. The best team in the 2002 World Cup was the USA. The problem was that the referee wanted Germany to win their match-up… intentional hand ball on the goaline. 2 goals against Ghana in 2006 were very iffy.
i am very happy with the way usa played against spain.they are going to win the cup
usa are world champions
I did not like the comments made by the spanish players and supporters. Especially when they said Africans must try to be more European…too confident end up thinking they are the Gods of this world. They disrespected our culture and values, thats why they were Obamatised last night. Thanks USA.
