Glastonbury 2009 lineup and secret guests

Yesterday saw the start of the Glastonbury Festival 2009, which is said to be one of the biggest performing arts festivals in the world. Many music fans have already visited and will visit the festival to enjoy the music and to watch their favourite acts perform live on stage.

And according to musicradar.com, there will be some big name acts that will grace the stages at the festival, which finishes on Sunday 28th June. Blur is said to be headlining this year as well as Neil Young, Lily Allen and The Boss. The Klaxons also have a slot on Saturday.

The first Glastonbury Festival was in 1970 and was apparently attended by 1,500 people, although nowadays the numbers are more in the thousands. Tickets for this year’s event have apparently sold out. If you want to know who else is lined up then you can via glastonburyfestivals.co.uk.
