Britney Spears devastated after Michael Jackson died

Britney Spears has been telling E! Online that she was devastated after she learned that Michael Jackson had died. Spears just like Jackson were no stranger to being in the media, but for all of the wrong reasons.
Britney Spears and Michael Jackson both performed “The Way You Make Me Feel” while at the 30th Anniversary Celebration for Jackson, back in 2001 on CBS. She said, “I was so excited to see his show in London,” Spears said in a statement today. “We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I’m devastated he’s gone!”
On a personal note, it is so sad to see that all of these celebrities are now coming out of the woodwork to say how sad they are at the passing of Jackson. Where were they when he needed their support the most?
