It started off, that Sir Paul McCartney was going to just christen the New York Mets’ new Queens Stadium, but now it is beginning to turn more into a mini tour. According to rollingstone.com, McCartney has decided to add shows in Atlanta, Washington DC and Boston to the summer schedule.
And there have been reports, that there could be more dates on the way. Apparently, the Atlanta concert, that Sir Paul will play on August 15th will be a benefit show to raise money for the upkeep of Piedmont Park, which is where the concert will take place.

A recent press release has revealed that Paul will also perform an August 1st concert at Washington DC and the set will include hits from his time with the Beatles, Wings and some from his solo career. The concert will apparently be his first in the capital since 2005.
