Video: Jermaine Jackson Press Conference

Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine Jackson has given a brief statement in a press conference following the death of the singer. You could see in the footage that he was finding it hard to keep his composure, but he has to be strong for his family.

In the statement, Jermaine said, “My brother, the legendary “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, passed away on Thursday, June, 25, 2009 at 2:26 pm.” He then added, “It is believed he suffered a cardiac arrest in his home. However the cause of his death is unknown until the results of the autopsy are known.”

    I have to say that the statement that Jermaine left, was very sad. It is hard to believe that someone so famous, talented and gifted could live a life so full of being alone. My heart goes out to not only the family and friends, but to all of the millions of fans who dearly loved him as well. It just proves that we are all just human, and can be subject to the end at any moment.

    My Heart goes out to the Jackson family and to Michael’s Kids. I feel so sad in knowing that the King of Pop is Gone. i grew up listening to The Jackson 5 and to Michael. What a tragedy and loss to the music industry. I’ve been listening to his music on the radio and T.V., so glad to know that people really still Loves him and paying such homeage to him. R.I.P.     sorry to ever see someone die. but the real michael jackson died long ago. you who think he is going to be in heaven, guess again. he is in hell. he did not live his life for Christ…he was a pedophile, and had no use for God. so he has got his reward for such a life.     “May Allah be with you,always” was the last sentence of his speach, and Alhamdulilah that more and more people especially celebrities convert to Islam but they should make it more publicly to inspire more and more people to convert. Anyway as a big fan of Michael and being a muslim I am happy that he converted and died as a muslim. Hope that Allah accepted your repentance, Michael.

    Thankfully you are not the one who gets to judge the world. For someone so quick to judge Michael you need to read the Word of God which says that Jesus came not to condemn the world but to seek and save that which was lost. It also says to work out your OWN salvation with fear and trembling and also that man looks on the outward but God looks at the heart. Since you are not in a position to see Michaels heart I suggest you go find a new mission because you don’t have a Heaven or Hell to send people to. For you though the scriptures say (paraphrased) that careful what you judge someone for lest you find yourself overtaken in the same sin. Should we look for your name among the pedophiles? Everyone has a right to Jesus even self-righteous judges who run around condemning people like yourself. We don’t know what Michael did or didn’t do. We weren’t there and I suspect that if you had an opportunity you would take advantage of someone like him as well.

    On another note and as a singer myself, I am grateful to have been touched by his music and talent. I am saddened at what I feel could have been an avoidable death.
