The sudden death of Michael Jackson has shocked the world, and fans have been joining in the celebrations of his life. Although it is sad at his passing, we can be happy in the fact that he has left his mark in the world of the music industry.

I am sure that I am not the only one when I say that he was the most influential music artist of our time, and no one can deny that he has produced some of the best albums ever. One of those albums went on to become the biggest selling of all time.

Michael Jackson has sold more than 750 million records; he has had 8 platinum or multiplatinum albums, 13 No.1 singles and 47 tracks to hit the Billboard Hot 100. It was in 1982 when he made his mark in pop history with the launch of his album Thriller, it has sold more than 45 million copies.
