Video: Janet Jackson Tribute at 2009 Bet Awards

It was an absolute shock to millions last week, when the news was announced that the King of Pop Michael Jackson had died. And last night, his sister Janet was seen on stage at the BET Awards, speaking about his death, as we mentioned in an earlier post.
Janet and Michael’s father Joe Jackson was also at the event and he too spoke about the devastation surrounding Michael’s death. As you can see from the video below, Janet had to take a bit of time to gather herself before she went on to speak.
Although her speech was only brief, it still portrayed what millions of his fans were thinking when Janet said that Michael will be missed very much by everyone. The night was full of tributes to the memory of Michael including people singing his songs.

Janet your an amazing woman, Thank you for being there with us on the loss of your beloved brother who we dearly miss!! It is so nice to see your family out with us in the time of mourning!! He will always live on in our hearts.
Janet looked like an angel….And Michael is in heaven showing God how to dance and sing. Stop the hate no matter where it comes from or what it’s about. Michael is gone and that’s all we should be feeling. He’s Gone…And I for one will never get the chance to see him in this life…But I for one….defended him and chariched him and will forever do so. My heart goes to all those who loved Michael especially those from his family that truly loved him.

I will miss Michael Jackson so i love his songs and he was so,so good at what he did and i can’t belive this that he is gone,i was bron in 1975 an when his songs & videos come on my mother would call me to come and see them then i would go to bed, after i would see him and the same with Janet Jackson i love her to and he songs only GOD knows and GOD BLESS yall Jackson Family and his kids they r so lovely.
