Adam Lambert and Kris Allen: examples for gay-straight relations

Winner of “American Idol” Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert have been speaking out recently about their close friendship. According to examiner.com, in a recent interview, Kris Allen called Adam his “closest gay” and Adam said that Kris is becoming his “closest straight.”

The two best friends will be spending an awful lot of time together soon as the “American Idol” tour kicks off this summer, as mentioned in a previous post. And when asked recently about their relationship, Adam said his sexuality doesn’t actually matter to Kris.

Adam stated that he thinks it is great that Kris is comfortable with his sexuality and doesn’t feel threatened at all by being friends with a gay guy. Kris Allen also agreed to Adam’s statement and added that he thinks that is what is wrong with the world, people should just all get along.

    I resented the whole Kris win initially, but being a devout Adam fan and seeing how wonderful Kris is as a person with Adam, showing his support, I am a Kris fan too. Adam is a great guy, honest, talented, smart, and that is why he and Kris get along well – birds of a feather, stick together. Great guys!

    Of course gays and straights can be friends and these two guys are really terrific people period. If there are people out there afraid of having gay or straight friends then definately look at these guys, because they are lucky to have each other as they make their way in a tough business. Hopefully people will base their friendships on the person, not their sexual orientation – but Adam and Kris are particularly adorable no doubt.

    Everyone should follow the example of Adam and Kris. They have the sweetest friendship. It absolutely shows the fine character of each of these guys and something we should all live by. I think it happened this way for a reason..To show the world how it’s done ! I will say I think Adam Lambert can make any woman or man have a crush on him…So Irresistable and Adorable…Kradam is sooo cute !!!

    It doesn’t matter who we are friends with, great relationship is all that matter. Adam and Kris are great together as bestfriend, they help each other alot and always be there for one another. you right Mancy, we should follow the example of Adam and Kris.. Both of them are great, talented, nice and i love them. and yes, Kradam do cute. LOL.
