Public Enemies Movie Review

Well if you are a Johnny Depp fan, then you may be pleased to know that he has a new movie “Public Enemies” that is due to be released soon. According to huffingtonpost.com, the movie stars Depp as famous bank robber John Dillinger and apparently he plays him good.

But then again, that could be understandable as Johnny Depp is a great actor. The movie is directed by Michael Mann and also co-stars Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis. It has apparently been described as slow to start, but a good movie once it does pick up.

Public Enemies Movie Review

The movie follows the story of America’s most famous bank robber Dillinger, as he plows from one robbery to the next, with FBI agent Purvis, hot on his trail. And although there is not that much action in this movie, what action there is, is apparently well directed.

    This might be Depp’s Oscar. I know, based soley on the trailer and clips, I must confess the movie looks incredible. Mann and Depp are famous for their thorough research. I’m a car buff from that era and have been looking forward to this movie for more than a year. Look for the 1934 and 1935 Fords.     I saw the screening of Public Enemies & it was even more incredible than I thought it would be! Johnny Depp is amazing as usual & I found a new fascination with John Dillinger!
    After watching the movie I read up on the facts & I can tell they put a lot of attention to detail in it. I’m looking forward to watching it again!
