Tye Strickland and Melissa Rycroft get engaged

Melissa Rycroft has finally found happiness, announcing her engagement to Tye Strickland on ‘Good Morning America’ Rycroft said “Sometimes the stars align and the clouds part and everything works out the way it should”.

After the public heartbreak and humiliation of being dumped on national television by Jason Mesnick we are all left hoping that this second engagement will be the start of long lasting happiness for the former Bachelor contestant.

According to DAILY NEWS Rycroft held back from announcing her engagement last week as she felt it would be inappropriate and rude due to other breaking news at the time. Meanwhile things are certainly looking up for the star as she is also scheduled to appear on ‘Good Morning America’ throughout the summer.
