As “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert prepares for his AI tour and his upcoming debut album, he has apparently taken time out to reflect on the death of pop superstar Michael Jackson, whose life was cut short last week, when he died after suffering a cardiac arrest.
According to rollingstone.com, Adam was at rehearsals for the “American Idol” tour last Thursday, when someone announced the news of Michael’s death. Adam has revealed that he and everyone else just stopped singing with the complete shock at the news.

Lambert said that he has great memories of when he used to dance around his parents’ house, whilst lip-synching to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It.” The upcoming star also revealed that Michael’s “Rock With You” was his first “American Idol” audition song.
