Michael Jackson’s Will: assets in a trust fund

As Michael Jackson’s family are making funeral arrangements and planning memorial services for Michael, who died tragically last week, news has apparently broke that Michael’s will, which was signed on July 7th 2002, has recently surfaced, according to Associated Press.

And the will supposedly gives guardianship of his children to Michael’s mother Katherine. It also states that all Michael’s assets be placed in a trust fund following his death. The news came just after Michael’s family had said they believed the star died without a valid will.

It now complicates things a little, as Michael’s mother Katherine had drawn up a petition to become the administrator of Michael’s estate. And apparently, Judge Mitchell Beckloff had already granted 79-year old Katherine temporary guardianship over Michael’s 3 children.
