According to a report from Reuters, actress Angelina Jolie, who is well known for her roles in movies such as “Wanted” and “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” has been classed as Hollywood’s top earning actress, apparently banking a huge $27 million in the past year.
Jolie came top over her partner Brad Pitt’s ex-wife and actress Jennifer Aniston, who managed to rake in $25 million last year. Angelina has got a lot of her income from profit shares from her action movie “Wanted.” Aniston got most of her income from her movie “Marley and Me.”
Although Jennifer is said to be still earning from reruns of the TV series “Friends.” It was Meryl Streep that came in third on the list with $24 million. A lot of that came from her role in “Mama Mia.” And “Sex and the City” actress Sarah Jessica Parker came in fourth with $23 million.
