As we mentioned in an earlier post, TV pitchman Billy Mays sadly passed away last Sunday morning. His body was found at his Tampa, Florida home and it wasn’t known how he had died suddenly after recently returning from a business trip.
According to examiner.com, an autopsy was undertaken by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner, to find out the cause of death. Mays had apparently told news crews, that on returning from his trip, he had suffered a blow to the head, due to a bumpy landing.
Although Dr. Chrostowski has revealed that the autopsy shows no connection between the rough plane landing and Mays’ death, as there were no signs at all of any sort of external or internal head trauma. The doctor said cause of death was most likely from heart disease.
Apparently, the autopsy had shown “hypertensive and arteriosclerotic disease of the heart,” which can cause sudden death. Although we still have to wait until all test results to come in to know the official cause of death.
