Ryan O’Neal finds strength after Farrah Fawcett’s death

The news of Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett’s death last week left a trail of sadness and grief for many. Bravely loosing her battle with cancer, the star left behind her devoted partner Ryan O’Neal and the couples only son Redmond O’Neal.

According to PEOPLE, O’Neal described how difficult life has been since the death of the star, saying “I’m so proud of Redmond and the strength and resolve he is showing since his mother’s death”. Ryan has found that connecting with his son brings him comfort.

Farrah’s son was granted permission to leave his jail cell to attend her funeral last Tuesday. Over 200 guests was in attendance at the service in Los Angeles, to show their respect and gratitude to a truly brave and inspiring individual.
