All eyes were on Centre Court this afternoon at the Wimbledon 2009 tennis tournament, as fans watched while five-time champion Roger Federer, beat Germany’s Tommy Haas in 7-6, 7-5 and 6-3 straight sets.
This is now Federer’s 7th straight Wimbledon final and another step further towards a record 15th Grand Slam title. He seemed very happy with his masterful performance, which had all the Centre Court crowd mesmerized.

According to Associated Press, if Federer, who is now set to face either Andy Roddick or Andy Murray in the final, does win on Sunday, he will be the third player to have won six or more Wimbledon titles.
British tennis fans will be waiting with baited breath now, to see if Andy Murray defeats Andy Roddick in the second semi-final. If Murray wins, the bookies and fans would have been right, on it being a Murray vs Federer final.
