The Australian cricket team could well be left with a selection problem as they prepare for the first Ashes Test match against England, which is taking place in Cardiff on Wednesday, due to their fast bowler Brett Lee suffering some sort of injury.
According to cnn.com, Lee 32, played in the warm-up match against England last week, but then reportedly complained about some soreness to the left side of his ribs. He is currently undergoing scans, to find out the extent of the problem. So his return looks uncertain.

Lee, who was one of the heroes in the 2005 Ashes series in England, was apparently sidelined prior to the tour after suffering foot and heel injuries. An Australian team spokesman said that they were waiting on the results of the scans to come back to know the full extent.
