Thousand of tennis fans crowded Centre Court on Sunday, to watch what seemed like the longest Wimbledon men’s singles final match between Swiss player Roger Federer and American Andy Roddick and one in which Federer won his 15th grand slam title.
The match itself lasted a nail biting four hours and eighteen minutes, as mentioned in an earlier post and according to techbanyan.com, it was Andy Roddick that won the toss to serve first. And with the help of a great serve, Roddick took the first point.

Apparently, when it came to Federer’s turn to serve, he managed to win another point which took his score up to 30-love. At this stage of the match, the crowds were getting fidgety in their seats. Federer finished the match off with 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6 and 16-14.
