Michael Jackson Memorial Ticket Winners already on Twitter

After the news of Michael Jackson’s memorial service was announced, which is being held on Tuesday July 7th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, millions of fans had the chance to get their hands on tickets to the memorial, through a funeral ticket lottery system.

According to nationalledger.com, the winners of the lottery were given a code and instructions on how to pick them up and some fans that have already scored tickets, have taken to blogging site Twitter to announce their good fortune regarding tickets.

Apparently a record 1.6 million people registered for tickets to the memorial, which Sir Paul McCartney is said to be attending and fans took to the Internet Sunday night to tell others that they had received them. Reports say that the ceremony will also be aired on TV.
