T.J. Hooker Movie: William Shatner to play Hooker’s Father

We’ve already seen the likes of the1970’s American TV show “Starsky and Hutch” made into a movie that starred Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller and now, according to empireonline.com, it appears that a movie from the classic 1980’s show “T. J. Hooker” is in the making.

I remember the show fairly well and I wasn’t very old at the time. For those of you that don’t remember it or are too young to know about it, it was a cop show that starred William Shatner as police sergeant Thomas Jefferson Hooker and also starred Heather Locklear.

Reports have revealed that Chuck Russell, who has directed movies such as “The Blob,” “The Mask” and “Nightmare On Elm Street 3,” could well be the one that directs this movie and it is rumored that William Shatner could be starring as T. J. Hookers father.
