Alanis Morissette’s food addiction

According to theage.com.au, 35-year old singer Alanis Morissette has announced recently that she will be starring in the US TV show “Weeds,” in which she will play Dr. Audra Kitson, a doctor who looks after pregnant drug dealer Nancy, who is played by Mary Louise Parker.

The Canadian singer, who you may remember from the great song “Ironic,” is said to be starring in about seven episodes of the hit show. Alanis claimed that she has really enjoyed starring in “Weeds,” as it has helped her with her food addiction that she has apparently been battling.

She was reported to have said that being in the hit show has helped her detox. She claims that she picked up some very unhealthy eating habits whilst on tour and “Weeds” was her solace in the back of the tour bus. She also claims that it was a replacement for her food addiction.
