Today saw the start of the Sail Boston 2009, Parade of Sail celebration, which lasts for 5 days. And according to examiner.com, the Tall Ships have come to the city for the first time since 2000. It is said to be an entertaining 5 days with plenty of free activities for the visitors.
It is said that visitors to the celebrations, will be able to see ships from all over the globe including Portugal, US, Germany, Belgium, Bermuda and the Netherlands. And that is only just a few. Events have been organized for the cadets, crew and the general public.

There is also a free Liberty part arranged for Friday evening, which allows the crew and public to socialize together. On Thursday 9th July from 12pm to 3pm at the UMass Boston, teams will be playing in a Crew and Cadet Soccer Tournament.
