Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits $600 million

We all knew that the Michael Bay sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” was tipped to be a hit at the box office and it broke records after only a few days of hitting the big screens in the UK, but I don’t think we actually realized how big the film would be.

I have personally been to see the movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as it was action packed from the very beginning. And according to hollywoodreporter.com, the movie has proved to be a hit with records reaching $299.8 million in the U.S and Canada.

But the records don’t just stop there. Reports say that Monday also saw overseas box office figures rising to record amounts of $300 million. This now means that the blockbuster “Transformers 2” movie has pulled in an amazing $600 million worldwide so far.
