After the tragic news was announced that Michael Jackson had passed away on the 25th June, the media were inundated with reports from the cause of his death, to whether he was the biological father of his two eldest children and who would get custody.

Many of his fans were outraged, that so much speculation arose from his untimely death. And one of the stories that came out was in the Mirror, stating that Michael had planned to leave his 50 percent stake in the Beatles’ Sony/ATV publishing rights to Paul McCartney.

But, according to rollingstone.com, that wasn’t the case. Apparently Michael’s will, which he was said to have signed in 2002, said that all of his assets would go to the Michael Jackson Family Trust and there was no mention at all of Paul.

And now, it appears that Sir Paul McCartney has spoken out about the false reports and claimed he knew all along that it was fictional. And he also claims the reports that said he was devastated that they weren’t left to him were also untrue
