UFC 100 Results: Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping Video

Last night’s UFC 100 produced some great results and have proven that Dan Henderson was a better fighter than Ultimate Fighter Michael Bisping on the night. If you did not see the fight, then you can watch it on video here, one thing is certain, Henderson seemed to be on another fighting level.

Newsday.com has reported that Henderson blasted Bisping in the face with a powerfully right hand it was this that knocked Bisping out, leaving him laying there motionless. This was only in the second round of the middleweight UFC bout.

Michael Bisping had been knocked to the floor beforehand, when flat on his back Van Henderson decided that what was needed was another hit, it was that final blow that knocked Bisping out cold. Referee Mario Yamasaki then had to get in the middle to stop the fight.

    I didn’t like Michael’s attitude before the last “Ultimate Fighter” season and watching him on the show only made me care for him less.

    I think the only thing that this fight showed is that Henderson is just as big as a piece of shit as pisbing. Henderson knows that Bispings has a wife and kids and knows as a fighter that fighting is his livelihood. What did Bisping say that was so bad as a lot of other fighters? Bisping was out and Henderson knew that by his own admission. Nobody is arguing what Henderson did was not illegal in UFC but it was poor sportsmanship. I am a fighter and as a fighter I think it was a low level of self respect for other fighters goes it was a low blow. Henderson knows that these are the type of knock outs that change a fighter for the worst. When a fighter gets hit hard by a strike and they collapse it is one thing but Henderson knows when they go stiff, that they are out and done and it was a malicious KO. I really wanted to cheer for Henderson but I don’t have a lot of respect for Henderson now.

    Mitch, how can you say that Americans are the toughest people on the planet, when clearly you are not, MMA is relatively young in Europe so it will be a few years until it catches up, Bispin is a class fighter, he just got caught with a great punch, I like Hendo but he let himself down when he hit bispin again when he new he was out cold, thats not what the sport is about..

    I love how Dan talked no smack at all and just destroyed him. Bisping has not really fought any serious guys on the way up. Evens was almost 2 years ago and though he is good we saw some serious holes in his game last fight. I hope he drops to the bottom of the ladder and has to work his way all the way back up. Dan brought the pain baby!!!

    Excellent win for hendo. gratz for shutting bispings mouth! however i am not liking all this usa over british thing. all in all they are both great fighters but hendos experiance won him this fight so i give him absolute respect. lets try to be mature about it though cuz the brits did win tuf 9 in both weight classes so giv em credit where its due and they are not ALL shit talkers. still though he had it coming to him GREAT KO!

    Michael Bisbing is good at everything but hes not great at anything. Hes not outstanding at striking,wrestling or BJJ. He will never ever hold a UFC title. He also will never beat any former champions. Hendo did a good job. Congrats Dan Henderson

    Congrats to hendo,wasnt impressed with the puch thrown when bisping was out cold,but I think it was the heat of the moment,I still think bisping is a good fighter and the day got to him a bit,he seemed to be very nervous and you dont want to find yourself facing a legend like hendo when your in that state of mind.Hope bisping will bounce back and hendo gets a title shot against silva,he aint gettin any younger

    Im canadian so I have no bias towards bisping/hendo fight. But I just hate cocky smack talkers. I liked bisping before ultimate fighter, but I have to admit he got what he had coming to him! Henderson is a true professional, and a great ambassador for MMA. having said that, I think it’s a shame people are saying henderson went too far with his final shot. That’s what you’re SUPPOSED to do! Finish the guy until you’re stopped by the ref. Every professional ufc fighter I bet did not have a problem at all with hendersons finish. Great knockout, Hendo looked awesome. Hopefully Bisping will grow as a fighter from this…and also as a person.

There’s one thing that every single fighter knows, it’s drilled into them. Do not stop until the ref stops you. This is a sport. This is their livelihood. Yes he knew he was out, but go watch 50 fights ending in a TKO… and you tell me how many fighters stopped before the ref grabbed them.     Hendo hit him flush but it was the heat of the moment too. You can criticize the guy in hindsight but it was a single blow. It was legal and it is what fighters are trained to do… finish. Bisping had talked crap for months and months. Hendo wanted that win bad and when you have that much on the line, a chance at Silva again, he took it. There have been far worse blows and chokes that have come out of passion than this. Jordan Radiv vs. McFedries, Penn vs. Pulver, Kosheck in TUF 1 Finale and Sobral’s choke that got him banned to name a few.

    I love how some foreigners have to some how say all Americans have no brain cells to make themselves feel better. If Hendo only has 4 brain cells, how many does that give Bisping? Especially since he kept circling towards that right? Everyone else saw it but him. I travel and like other nations but that is so weak.
