Hendo hit him flush but it was the heat of the moment too. You can criticize the guy in hindsight but it was a single blow. It was legal and it is what fighters are trained to do… finish. Bisping had talked crap for months and months. Hendo wanted that win bad and when you have that much on the line, a chance at Silva again, he took it. There have been far worse blows and chokes that have come out of passion than this. Jordan Radiv vs. McFedries, Penn vs. Pulver, Kosheck in TUF 1 Finale and Sobral’s choke that got him banned to name a few.

I love how some foreigners have to some how say all Americans have no brain cells to make themselves feel better. If Hendo only has 4 brain cells, how many does that give Bisping? Especially since he kept circling towards that right? Everyone else saw it but him. I travel and like other nations but that is so weak. And get over the “Bush insult” the only reason no one insults your leaders is because no one even cares to know who they are.

This is the big leagues, best of the best… have you not seen fights that should have been stopped but were not, and somehow the dropped fighter comes back to win?! There’s one thing that every single fighter knows, it’s drilled into them. Do not stop until the ref stops you. This is a sport. This is their livelihood. Yes he knew he was out, but go watch 50 fights ending in a TKO… and you tell me how many fighters stopped before the ref grabbed them. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN THIS CASE, WAS THAT DAN ACTUALLY ENJOYED IT A LITTLE BIT, AND WHO COULD BLAME HIM, DID YOU EVEN WATCH THE LAST TUF SEASON?!!
Mike was rude to Dan multiple times, disrespectful… talked down to him, etc. And hey, I got no major issue with Bisping, he’s a good fighter, enjoy watchin him fight, but I will say that after the TUF season, I’m not exactly a huge fan. I have a feeling he’s a bit of a bully in real life. (I’m guessing of course…he could act like Mother Theresa for all I know)

i like hendo, so im glad he won, didnt like that bisping talked so much shit about america and whatnot yeah the uk took TUF but whatever, its ok ill admit the loss, but they had better fighters to work with from the beginning america had complete no names and uk had some known-ish fighters (not famous but known) oh and all you canadians talking about americans being trash… what do you have 33 million people something like that 32,999,999 of you make syrup and bacon and one of you is an awesome fighter, that shouldnt be your source of pride

Im canadian so I have no bias towards bisping/hendo fight. But I just hate cocky smack talkers. I liked bisping before ultimate fighter, but I have to admit he got what he had coming to him! Henderson is a true professional, and a great ambassador for MMA. having said that, I think it’s a shame people are saying henderson went too far with his final shot. That’s what you’re SUPPOSED to do! Finish the guy until you’re stopped by the ref. Every professional ufc fighter I bet did not have a problem at all with hendersons finish. Great knockout, Hendo looked awesome. Hopefully Bisping will grow as a fighter from this…and also as a person.

Congrats to hendo,wasnt impressed with the puch thrown when bisping was out cold,but I think it was the heat of the moment,I still think bisping is a good fighter and the day got to him a bit,he seemed to be very nervous and you dont want to find yourself facing a legend like hendo when your in that state of mind.Hope bisping will bounce back and hendo gets a title shot against silva,he aint gettin any younger
