UFC 100 Main Event: Another Recap

It was the UFC 100 event on Saturday night and thousands of fans worldwide would have been watching on their TV’s or through a live feed online, as Brock Lesnar took on Frank Mir, Dan Henderson took on Michael Bisping and George St. Pierre took on Thiago Alves.

It really was a great night, with some interesting results. It certainly looked like Thiago Alves didn’t stand a chance against George St. Pierre, with George showing his technical skills as a well-rounded fighter. Alves was eventually defeated by St. Pierre.

Another great fight on the night was the one between Dan Henderson and British UFC fighter Michael Bisping. According to collegenews.com, the bout didn’t last very long, as it was only after 3:20 in the second round, that Henderson knocked Bisping out instantly with a right hook.

And finally, the fight that everyone had been talking about, Frank Mir against Brock Lesnar. And it seemed to go down the same route as their previous fight. Mir survived the first round, only to be beaten down again in round 2, with Lesnar declared the winner.
