Boxing: Manny Pacquiao, Arturo Gatti, Shane Mosley, and more

The boxing world has lost yet another great fighter recently, with the sudden and tragic loss of Arturo Gatti, who will be missed by boxing fans from all over the world. It was only a week or so ago, that we mentioned in a post, that former boxer Alexis Arguello had been found dead.

In other boxing news, according to examiner.com, Shane Mosely has apparently decided to give up on Mayweather and Pacquiao and start setting his sights now on Paul Williams, Andre Berto and a few others. Reports say that an opponent for Mosley will be announced soon.

And it seems that the saga between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto is still continuing, with neither of them wanting to budge on the weight issue. Pacquiao is reportedly still demanding 141lbs to 143lbs, whilst Cotto is dead against anything below 145lbs. Let’s hope it gets resolved.
