Gossip Girl Season 3 and Michelle Trachtenberg

Actress Michelle Trachtenberg caused confusion amongst “Gossip Girl” fans recently, when reports revealed that the actress was to start work on her new NBC show “Mercy” earlier than expected. Fans were then left wondering, how it would affect Michelle’s appearances in season 3 of “Gossip Girl.”

According to buddytv.com, Michelle has been cast as a rookie nurse on “Mercy,” which was originally due to air in January 2010. But it has now been brought forward to air in September so as you can imagine, the cast and crew of the medical show have had to start work sooner than they had thought.

But it looks as though it’s good news for Michelle’s fans, as she will still be able to appear in “Gossip Girl.” The contract she has signed for “Mercy,” allows her time out to shoot scenes for the “Gossip Girl,” so we’ll be able to see her reprise the role of Georgina Sparks.
