Bruno movie vs. Ice Age 3 and Harry Potter Half-Blood Prince

We reported earlier this week that Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno movie topped the Box Office charts over the weekend, beating Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs in the process. Bruno will have to face the fact that it will now be trounced at the Box Office this week, as the much-anticipated Harry Potter Half-Blood Prince is released.

Bruno has been doing well at the UK Box Office, but its 18 certificate has hampered its efforts. The Guardian is now reporting that Universal have announced a 15-certificate version of the movie, this will be released on July 24.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs was at the top stop, but Bruno knocked the kids movie of taking less than half what Bruno did over the weekend. None of this will matter from today, as we see Harry Potter Half-Blood Prince released today. The sixth movie from the Harry Potter, which has just been given approval from the Vatican, will give Bruno and Ice Age 3 a master class in Box Office taking.
