Sara Evans at Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game

Country singer Sara Evans, who married former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker last year, is set to sing at the Major League Baseball’s All-Star game today July 15th. According to CMT, Sara will be performing “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning stretch.

Sara went through a lot of heartache back in 2006 and 2007, when she split from her first husband. She was competing in “Dancing With the Stars” at the time and had to leave for personal reasons. But she found love again with Jay and the couple are really happy.

And she is focusing very much on her career as well. She has been working on a book, that will be released sometime this year and has recently released her new single to country radio that is called “Feels Just Like a Love Song.” The All-Star game will be televised on Fox.
