Harry Potter and the Half Blood-Prince Breaks Record

It was already predicted that the sixth Harry Potter movie would do well, with many critics saying that it is the best in the series, but did we actually know how much of a hit “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” was really going to be.

Well, some said that it was going to do better than the “Twilight” franchise in the box office and some even claimed it would do better than the James Bond movies. And after just one day, the film has proved that it will be a huge hit.

The movie was only released yesterday (July 15) and according to mtv.com, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has already broken midnight screening records at the box office, after raking in an amazing $20 million.
