When JK Rowling first started writing the “Harry Potter” books, I don’t think she realised how popular the franchise was actually going to be. But with the recent release of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” it’s proved to be massive.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the sixth “Harry Potter” installment has already pulled in an outstanding $100 million in 24 hours. Imagine how JK Rowling is feeling now, knowing that all her hard work has really paid off.
The bestselling author reportedly made a documentary a couple of years ago called “JK Rowling: A Year In The Life,” which shows you an insight into what it was really like for her, writing such a popular series of books.
