Iron Man 2 Wraps up Filming: How did it go?

Filming has just finished at the weekend for the new movie “Iron Man 2,” which sees Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow back in their original roles. According to marvel.com, filming started on the 6th April and ended July 18th, after only 71 days of shooting.

And it must have helped having some of the original cast and crew, as they were obviously all familiar with each other. This and the fact that the makers of the movie knew what worked and what didn’t in respect to filming, helped them finish on schedule.

Kevin Feige, who is the producer of “Iron Man 2” and President of Marvel Studios, said that it is harder shooting a sequel, as you have to always try and make it better than the first and claimed they all worked harder to improve. The movie is set for a May 2010 release.
