Last night fans of the hit HBO vampire show “True Blood,” got to see episode 5 of season 2. And according to daemonstv.com, last night’s episode “Never Let Me Go,” gave the fans a little more insight into some of the shows characters.
In last night’s show, Daphne was revealed to be a shapeshifter like Sam, but she apparently wasn’t the thing that attacked Sookie. And it appears that Barry can’t keep control of his telepath ability the way Sookie can and he quit his job.
We also saw that Sookie, who is played by Anna Paquin, has decided to go undercover with the Fellowship of the Sun. And we got to see Godric through a flashback and it was revealed that he is Eric’s maker. What did you think of episode 5?

Who was the woman vampire at the end of the episode? And again, we learn little about Maryanne.
How is this season compared to the book series? Is this whole Fellowship fo the Sun part of it? I know the Dallas trip is, but not beyond that?
The woman you see at the end is Lorena Bill’s maker. What we did learn about Maryanne is that she is a Maenad an ancient deity in Greek mythology (wiki has a great definition) you saw her partially turn at the end of last weeks Season 2 episode 4 “shake and Fingerpop” she is the being who attacked Sookie. The show is a variation of the books. Some fans love the idea others completely hate the idea I enjoy them individually.
The woman was Bill’s maker. Bill told Sookie about her through a flash back in season one.
The woman at the end of the show was “Lorena” … the Vampire that “made” Bill a vampire. She looks quite different from when she made Bill back during the Civil War.
I think Lorena was in town because Eric called her. I bet Eric wants Lorena to keep Bill occupied so Sookie can focus on her assignment. Maybe he also wants Lorena to keep Bill busy so that he can make the moves on Sookie ….
Can’t wait until next Sunday………
