Former UFC Fighter Kimo Leopoldo is Dead

Kim “Kimo” Leopoldo, the former UFC fighter is dead at just 41 following a heart attack. The reports of Kim’s death have been reported by a number of websites, but it was TMZ who have confirmed his death. TMZ are now trying to gather more information.

Leopoldo was well loved in the world of UFC and was one of its pioneering fighters since his MMA debut in 1994 where he took part in UFC 3. Kimo fought for 12 years in the UFC, he finally retired in 2006 after taking part in Extreme Wars 5-Battlegrounds.

It was a well-known fact that Kimo Leopoldo battled with a drug problem throughout his long fighting career, towards the end of his career he had tested positive for anabolic steroids. It is so sad that a Kim will be more known for the low parts of his life, instead of his great fighting career.
