US Poster Art for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

The new movie “Prince of Persia: Sands of Time,” which is based on the “Prince of Persia” video game and stars Ben Kingsley as Nizam, may not be due out until May 2010, but according to slashfilm.com, you can see the US poster art for the movie already.

And apparently, the poster art gives you a first glimpse of Ben Kingsley in the leading role as Nizam. The movie has Jerry Bruckheimer as its producer and also stars Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar, Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan and Gemma Arterton as Tamina.

The story is set is ancient Persia and is about a prince, who teams up with a princess to try and return the Sands of Time to the hourglass and save his kingdom from evil in the process. It sounds like it could well be a good movie, so let’s hope we get a sneak peek soon.
