25 Minutes of Avatar Footage Screened at Comic-Con

The 2009 San Diego Comic-Con kicked off yesterday and as expected, the fans were there in full force and loving every minute of it. Even on Wednesday night’s preview night, the crowds packed the convention halls, all with their cameras at the ready.

And according to slashfilm.com, one of the most anticipated panels at the convention other then the “New Moon” one, was the panel for the new James Cameron movie “Avatar.” And apparently, Cameron was there to introduce the movie to the fans.

What made it even better, was when James Cameron announced that he would be screening over 25 minutes of footage for the fans to enjoy. Visitors were treated to numerous clips from the movie, which stars Sam Worthington and Sigourney Weaver.
