American Idol Contestant Alexis Cohen Killed

Recent reports have revealed that the former “American Idol” contestant Alexis Cohen, who found a bizarre sort of fame after she was seen, cursing about judge Simon Cowell on national television, has been killed in a hit-and-run incident in New Jersey.

According to chicagotribune.com, Alexis was found around 4am by two people passing by, after she had been struck by a hit-and-run driver. The two people apparently phoned 911 and Alexis was taken to the Community Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Michael Mohel, who is the deputy chief of the prosecutor’s office, has revealed that Alexis’ death is being ruled as a homicide. Many will remember Alexis for her “American Idol” audition and her profanity-laced rant about Simon Cowell, after she was rejected.
