Yes, soccer is on its way of becoming a top 3 spectator sport in the country. US put a second string team in the Gold Cup, so no big deal there. And, MLS, which is only 14 years young, has a higher average attendance than both NBA and NHL. Yes, soccer has arrived in the US!!!
