It looks like Michael Jackson fans will get to see his final hours made into a movie, after recent reports suggested that the King of Pop’s “This Is It” rehearsal footage was to be made into a documentary. And according to mirror.co.uk, it is Sony Pictures that has struck the deal.
And apparently, reports say that Sony has offered almost $50 million to make Michael’s last hours into a Hollywood movie. The movie will be titled “This Is It,” which was what Michael’s 50-show comeback was called and is being released on October 30th.

Sony Pictures are hoping that the movie, which will feature never-before-seen rehearsal footage, will be a huge box office hit when it’s released. The footage is to include Michael Jackson rehearsing on stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the day before his death.
