It’s only a few weeks until the 2009 Miss Universe, which is being held in the Bahamas this year and recent reports have revealed that the organizers of Miss Universe, have chosen ABS-CBN as their exclusive media partner in the Philippines.
According to abs-cbnnews.com, the anticipated Miss Universe 2009 will be broadcast live on ABS-CBN on August 24th at 9:30 am, with a prime time telecast being aired the same day on Velvet at 8pm. There will also be replays available.
The replays are said to be on Studio 23 on August 25th at 8pm, August 27th at 10pm on ABS-CBN and on Velvet on August 26th at 8:30pm and August 29th at 10pm. There will be about 80 of the most beautiful women from across the globe competing.
One of the contestants in the 2009 Miss Universe, which is said to be the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant, is the Philippine bet Bianca Manalo. The pageant will be hosted by “Access Hollywood” co-anchor Billy Bush and Claudia Jordan.
