Singer Kelly Clarkson was against the video for her new single “Already Gone” and didn’t really want it to be released. But according to rollingstone.com, it debuted at the weekend. It is the third single off of her “All I Ever Wanted” album.
Other Kelly Clarkson videos such as “I Do Not Hook Up” and “My Life Would Suck Without You,” have been very upbeat, but her new single and video sees Clarkson in full-on ballad mode. She had hoped it hadn’t even been made let alone shown.

The reason for this is apparently, the music in the “Already Gone” single sounds very much the same as the music in Beyonce’s “Halo.” Both songs were reportedly written by One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and do indeed use the same backing track.
According to reports, Clarkson was so upset about the similarities, that when she performed it live recently, she tinkered with it. She was also against her label releasing it. You can watch the new video below and tell us what you think of it.
