Formula One News: Renault may follow BMW

We’ve only just had the news recently, that BMW are pulling out of F1 at the end of the current season and now it appears that Renault’s future in Formula One is uncertain. According to google.com, Renault could well be the next to withdraw from the competition.

The FIA have apparently made it quite clear that BMW’s withdrawal could have been avoided if they’d been allowed to implement planned cost cuts. But they have given confirmation that Toyota and Mercedes-Benz are to remain in Formula 1.

This confirmation comes despite the fact that it has been Toyota’s future in F1 that has been the center of speculation. Reports claim that Renault has been facing a major shortfall in their budget, as their primary sponsors ING are pulling out after the season.
