Actress Katie Holmes, who is married to Tom Cruise, appeared on the 100th episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” recently and performed a singing and dancing tribute to Judy Garland, which I personally thought she did very well.
But according to sfgate.com, some critics, members of the public and fellow dancers, have taken to the Internet since her appearance and posted some harsh reviews. One person even described Katie’s performance as “amateurish.”
This has apparently prompted TV producer and “So You Think You Can Dance” judge Nigel Lythgoe, to take to the Internet himself in Holmes’ defense. He posted on his Twitter page saying he’s trying to figure out why Katie is being judged as a dancer.

Funny, when she dances to MC Lars ‘Party at the Church of Scientology’, everything looks fine. Maybe that song was playing in her head, lol.
