Today is the start of the 2009 Women’s British Open, which is being held at Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club and finishes on the 2nd August. So what do golf fans have in store for them over the next few days?
Well, apparently this course has quite a few bunkers and the players may well get a lot of wind, so anything could happen. And there’s the issue of the expected rain. But some of these ladies have experience in the field.

According to mlyhlss.blogspot.com, Lorena Ochoa has stated in an interview, that the course is much lusher and softer than it was back in 2006. And it looks like Ochoa is playing with her friend Ai Miyazato in the first 2 rounds.
So who do you think will win?
