Michael Schumacher, who is a seven-time world champion, is preparing himself for his return to Formula 1, when he will stand in for Brazilian Ferrari driver Felipe Massa, who is currently recovering from a terrible accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix at the weekend.
Normally under F1 rules, the drivers are not allowed to test the current cars, but according to bbc.co.uk, the F1 Teams’ Association members, are allowing Schumacher to test for one day. Although, F1’s governing body, the FIA, still have to sanction the decision.

Schumacher has already started his preparations for his return to F1, by testing a 2007 Ferrari at the teams test track. Michael, who retired in 2006, has apparently not driven an F1 car since April 2008. His first race will be the European Grand Prix on 23rd August.
