UFC 101 Main Event: BJ Penn Vs. Kenny Florian

There are just days left until the UFC 101: Declaration Main Event, where we get to see BJ Penn defend his Ultimate Fighting Championship title against Kenny Florian. These lightweight fighters will meet inside the Octagon on August 8, 2009.

ABC News reports that the fighting event will take place at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Florian is in good form as he is coming from his win over Joe Stevenson in UFC 91, but he will have to pull something special if he is to beat Penn in this 155-pound division.

We also mentioned in a recent post that the co-feature of the UFC 101 would see middleweight champion Anderson Silva take on Forrest Griffin. This 205 pounds battle will be a great one, as The Spider knows that Griffin is a former heavyweight champion.
