Yesterday saw a friendly game of soccer, in which Barcelona took on Seattle Sounders FC. And according to soccernet.espn.go.com, it was the Barcelona team that took a 4-0 victory over the Seattle Sounders FC in their latest stop of a pre-season tour of the U.S.
And it looks like Barcelona player Lionel Messi helped his team along a little, after scoring two goals in the first half of the match. He apparently beat Seattle Sounders FC goalkeeper Kasey Keller in the 21st minute of play, with a left-footed punch from outside the penalty box.

Then, it was about twenty minutes after that, that Messi got Xavi’s fantastically judged crossing pass about eight yards out. Then in one move, Messi, who apparently scored 38 goals in league and tournament play a year ago, split Keller’s legs with his left foot and scored.
