There appears to be more trades going on in the baseball world and according to nj.com, it was the New York Yankees that traded yesterday, only a day after they apparently signed veteran Russ Ortiz to a minor league deal.
And this time, the Yankees traded Padres starter Chad Gaudin, for a player that has not yet been named. This move is reportedly to help bolster their starting rotation. Before this season, Gaudin last worked as a full time starter back in 2007.

That was the year that 26-year old Gaudin, who will start his stint with the Yankees in the bullpen, posted an 11-13 record, with a 4.42 ERA in 34 starts. And this season, he apparently went 4-10 with a 5.13 ERA in 19 starts with the Padres.
